Lando Norris won the Dutch Grand Prix after 72 laps at Zandvoort. Kimi Antonelli finished second, and George Russell completed the podium. The result closed the final Formula One race scheduled at the Dutch circuit.
Norris started from pole and controlled most of the race. A late red flag gave Antonelli a chance to attack. The Mercedes driver briefly moved ahead at the restart, but Norris regained first place and kept it to the finish.
Norris kept the lead at the start
Norris made a clean start and reached the first corner before every other driver. Antonelli passed Russell for second place during the opening phase. That move placed a second Mercedes directly behind the leading McLaren. The first lap also produced a major incident. Max Verstappen crashed and could not continue. The stewards stopped the race with a red flag. The damaged car was taken away, and the track was checked.
The red flag removed the gaps between the cars and forced every team to prepare for another start. Norris remained calm after the restart and moved ahead again.
Norris used his tyres carefully during the middle of the race
Zandvoort places heavy loads on the tyres through long corners. Norris controlled his pace and kept enough grip for the important laps. Antonelli remained his closest rival, while Russell held third place. Pit stops created another challenge because a driver could return behind slower cars. McLaren completed Norris’s stop at the right time, and he remained in control. Mercedes also kept both cars near the front.
Oscar Piastri could not match the first three after starting farther back.

He recovered to sixth place, behind Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
Antonelli briefly took the lead after the late restart
The final part of the race changed after another stoppage. The drivers returned to the starting grid for a short final stage. Antonelli reacted well and moved ahead of Norris when racing resumed. Norris responded before Antonelli could build a lead. He used the grip of his McLaren, passed Antonelli’s Mercedes and returned to first place. This battle decided the winner without contact between the two cars.
Antonelli stayed close enough to keep second place. Russell followed in third, so Mercedes finished second and third.
| Place | Race driver | Time behind winner |

| Third place | George Russell | Gap: 15.906 seconds |

| Fifth place | Charles Leclerc | Gap: 17.258 seconds |
Several drivers failed to reach the finish
Six drivers did not finish the race. Verstappen left the contest on the opening lap. Alex Albon, Valtteri Bottas, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll and Oliver Bearman also failed to complete the full distance. The incidents repeatedly changed the race order and strategy. Drivers who avoided damage still had to manage restarts, cold tyres and nearby cars. Liam Lawson finished seventh, and Nico Hulkenberg took eighth.
Fernando Alonso and Pierre Gasly completed the first ten. Both finished one lap behind the winner, but they collected the final available points.
Norris won and Mercedes took two podium places
Norris started from pole and won, but the result required more than a fast qualifying lap. He handled the opening red flag, managed tyre wear and passed Antonelli to take first place again.

Antonelli finished 11.536 seconds behind the winner. Russell crossed the line 15.906 seconds after Norris. The Ferrari drivers Hamilton and Leclerc finished fourth and fifth. Norris also had to find his rhythm several times. Every stoppage reduced the lead that he had created. He could not rely on an earlier advantage and had to make another strong start each time racing resumed.
Mercedes showed strong pace with both cars. Antonelli challenged for the win, while Russell stayed close enough to complete the podium. Both drivers were fast and avoided the incidents that stopped several rivals. Hamilton finished fourth and Leclerc took fifth for Ferrari. Piastri followed in sixth, so McLaren left Zandvoort with the victory and points from both drivers.
